Enhance your skills and knowledge to support your employment goals with our Career Advantage Program.

Our workshops are designed to give you an advantage at every stage of your career, from part-time to graduate employment, and free access to experts in all aspects of employability.

These workshops are face to face and will be held at Torrens University.

Your first 100 days in the new job

Tuesday 28 May, 3.30pm-5.00pm

Graduates often ask us three main questions: How do I get a job? How do I keep a job? How do I get promoted? All these questions are directly related to what employers expect of their staff. This workshop will cover time management, negotiating at work and key performance indicators. This is a must attend for those wanting to progress in their careers in Australia.

Guest speaker and final session

Thursday 30 May, 3.30pm-5.00pm

In this interactive session, students and graduates will be able to ask all their questions to a Manager who has a lot of experience working with international students and migrants and will be able to share the main difficulties faced and what you can do to prepare and succeed in the Australian workplace. There will be a short presentation, followed by questions from the audience which students may submit beforehand, so the session is as tailored to your needs as possible. Main areas covered will be related to business culture, customs, and practices common to the Australian workplace.
