Entry Requirements

Diploma Stage 1: Students are required to complete international qualifications equivalent to Australian Year 11.

Diploma Stage 2: Students are required to complete international qualifications equivalent to Australian Year 12.

Course Details

A comprehensive introduction to foundation concepts and skills in engineering and associated disciplines, opening an array of choices to pursue degree studies at UniSA.

The Diploma of Engineering provides foundation knowledge in mathematics, an understanding of engineering practices, and specialised topics in civil, electrical, mechanical and mechatronic engineering, enabling students to pursue professional engineering degrees offered by the University of South Australia. All Engineering students are required to complete the tertiary preparation modules Mathematics for Study (MMSE001) in their first trimester and Language for Study (LGS001) in their second trimester. Although these modules do not count towards the study load or GPA, a non-graded is required for the program of study.
