Reputation

Australian education institutes have one goal: to set you up for success.  Australian unis rank highly amongst other universities around the world for academic excellence.  Six Australian universities are in the top 100 best universities in the world and have an impressive record of producing Nobel prize laureate, plus achieving amazing breakthroughs in discoveries and innovations. You can read more on this in our blog here.

On top of all these, what sets Australian unis apart strongly is the innovative way of teaching.  Australia is one of the fastest countries to adopt and implement new technologies, allowing students to be exposed to state-of-the-art facilities.  Universities also strive to deliver practical and career-orientated training so graduates are all ready to hit the ground running, reducing the learning curve needed when entering the job market; seamlessly translating their learning and skills to workplaces.

Better value for money

Considering the exchange rate, Australian universities are relatively less costly than other English-speaking destinations (Canada, UK and America).  The time needed to complete a degree is also shorter (see the table below), which once again brings down the total cost needed.  Click here for more information on how much it costs to study university in Australia.

Country Avg Years to complete Bachelor Degree
Australia 3 years
Canada 4 years
UK 3-4 years
US 4 years

Simple application process

Applying to study in Australia is a relatively easy process as compared to the UK student visa process and the US student visa process, both of which can be lengthy and costly (US fees have recently gone up as well).  To study in Australia, prospective students firstly need to apply for admission to an institution then for a student visa, all of which can be done online.

The process is as follows:

  1.  Choose to study in Australia
  2.  Decide on a course and education provider
  3.  Check entry requirements for course and visa
  4.  Apply for the course
  5.  Receive offer letter
  6.  Receive Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)
  7.  Apply for your visa
  8.  Book your flights

There are requirements that need to be met to successfully obtain a visa. Click here to read our blog about requirements for studying in Australia.

Safe and pleasant study environment

Australian universities are situated in some of the best locations in the country, with the majority located around the East Coast.  With a lower population density, Australia consistently ranks amongst the safest countries in the world and the quality of living in Australia is known to be among the best.

In 2018, three Australian cities which included Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne were voted into the top ten most liveable cities in the world.  Australia is blessed with amazing nature and climate conditions and whether it’s the beach, the hills or city-life you prefer, Australia has to all.  Click here to read more on why you should study in Australia.
