Botanic Garden Tour - Cultural Adventure Through Nature

Saturday 24 February, 10am to 12pm

Join us on the Botanic Garden Native Plant Trail where you will explore the rich cultural heritage of the Aboriginal people and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of native plants. 

Our knowledgeable Aboriginal guide, Tjimari, will take you on an unforgettable journey of discovery as you learn about the various ways in which these plants are used in Aboriginal culture. As you walk through the garden, you'll hear stories about the social history of the Aboriginal people and gain a deeper understanding of their unique way of life.

This tour is suitable for all English levels, and it is a great opportunity to practice your speaking and listening skills.

What to bring: 

  • comfortable walking shoes
  • water bottle
  • your camera or phone to take some amazing photos

The walking tour will depart at 10am from the Botanic Garden's main entrance on North Terrace, so make sure to be there on time! Be prepared to walk for approximately 1.5 hour.
