The campus features 7 acres of modern facilities and playing fields. Progressive teaching and guidance are delivered in state-of-the-art facilities to provide students with the very best preparation to follow their future ambitions.
Welcoming international students from around the world with diverse cultural backgrounds, the school community includes students from China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Spain and Germany. The international students stay in the Walford Boarding House with other boarding students.
The location of the Boarding House within the campus provides an integrated and safe community for the girls to enjoy the full range of school facilities during the week and on weekends. The art centre, music complex, library, fully equipped fitness room and sporting facilities are all accessible.

Walford was the first girls’ school in Australia to offer all three programs of the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the first girls’ school in South Australia to offer the IB Diploma.
More than 50% of Walford Year 12s consistently achieve a Tertiary Entrance Ranking in the top 10% of the state, and well over 95% of Walford graduates go on to University. The class of 2013 saw 7% of students achieve a perfect ATAR of 99.95.
