USC fosters a smooth transition from senior secondary to university with highly professional and caring subject specialist teachers who mentor and support students’ growth. Students discover how to maximise success at school and university as they become a more self-reliant, resilient and confident learner. Adjacent to numerous research-orientated organisations, including the SA Museum, Adelaide Zoo, the Botanic Gardens, Art Gallery, Migration Museum and the Adelaide Magistrates Court, the College encourages collaborative learning.
USC is the biggest feeder school to universities in South Australia (in particular The University of Adelaide), with more than 90% of our graduates obtaining their first preference at university upon graduation. A joint venture agreement with The University of Adelaide is an opportunity to secure a guaranteed place at the Group of 8 university.
International students will complete the Intensive English Program before entering Year 11 classes. Additionally, students will develop their language skills in English, Mathematics, Science and Commerce subjects; as well as participate in the International Cultural Engagement (ICE) Program.
