Wathnak, from Cambodia, completed the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) at Woodville High School, as part of the South Australian Government Schools. His studies provided a strong foundation for a career in mental health, supported by volunteering and community engagement. Today, Wathnak works as a counsellor and psychotherapist in Adelaide’s health and wellbeing sector and has been recognised with multiple awards, including Young Citizen of the Year by Adelaide City Council.
