1. Join StudyAdelaide Events

Top tip: Make sure you sign up to StudyAdelaide’s free weekly Student Newsletter so you don’t miss out on any upcoming events and so you can keep up to date with what’s happening throughout the year. The newsletter also offers job and volunteer opportunities, student discounts, and more!

2. Sign up for Student Clubs and Societies

Universities and study institutions in Adelaide have a range of clubs and societies, which include cultural, academic, social justice and hobby-based groups such as sport or science.

Joining a society and club related to your interests (or your home country) is a great way to find like-minded people and create a great network with students at your study institution.

3. Volunteer your time

Volunteering is a great way to build your network beyond your studies and provides an opportunity to meet a range of new people and locals.

It can also build your resume and gain experience that enhances career development. Volunteering is a rewarding experience and establishes valuable skills, and creates a sense of belonging within the wider community.
