StudyAdelaide’s Closer to Adelaide competition is designed to bring your team members, and your office closer to Adelaide. Throughout the competition you will learn how Adelaide brings international students closer to success in their studies, careers and lives.

Your decoration kit consists of StudyAdelaide branded merchandise including balloons, mini koalas, large koalas, gift boxes (pens, mugs/water bottles, notebook), pull-up banners/standees, red streamers, post-it notes, stacking boxes, window decals, printed flyers, flags, and posters. Use the items in the decoration kit*, plus feel free to add more items and start to decorate your office.
*If you haven’t received all items, please contact StudyAdelaide Market Coordinator. Please note some countries do not permit entry of certain items, so there are slight variations to meet those guidelines.

PLUS: The winning office will receive a reward for the entire team, to the value of AUD$1,000, to be used for a fun team-building activity.

The competition name is called, Closer to Adelaide competition. It is an interactive office decorating competition.
The competition runs from 10 July – 31 August 2023.
The competition is by invitation only and designed to bring you and your office/offices closer to Adelaide. Throughout the competition you will learn how Adelaide brings international students closer to success during their studies and in their careers.
To win, you and your colleagues will need to show your creativity by decorating your office, using the fantastic Decorating Kit we will sending to you. We will judge the entries from a video you submit of the office decoration and a post on your social media, tagging @studyadelaide and #closertoadelaide
The Decorating Kit will include office decorating merchandise such as balloons, bunting, posters, koalas and much more. We encourage you to show us your creativity, by using other items that remind you of Adelaide and that help share with prospective students the benefits of choosing to study in Adelaide.
Once your decorating kit has been sent, StudyAdelaide will update you with a tracking number.
Your decorating kit may arrive in different boxes from different locations. We will send tracking details for all items.
If your decorating kit doesn’t arrive/is delayed, please reach out to StudyAdelaide. We will work with you to try and resolve the issue and will make every effort to get the items to you in time to participate.
StudyAdelaide would like to see your office Adelaide themed all year round, but for the purpose of the competition there is no set amount of time that your decorations need to be up.
You can resubmit up to a total of 3 videos if you would like to add more creativity.
Your management team will nominate which two staff are to be awarded the major prize.
For the team-based prizes, StudyAdelaide will consult with the winning offices’ management team to facilitate the fun team building activity.
Winning offices will be selected by StudyAdelaide by 7 September 2023.
