Seymour College is a private girls’ day and boarding school, nestled in the foothills of the Adelaide Hills. Located just five kilometres from the CBD and within half an hour of Adelaide Airport, the College boasts spacious grounds and ample greenery.
Founded in 1922, Seymour College has a well-earned reputation for academic excellence; with many of its Old Collegians going on to become leaders in their field. In addition to academic development, the College offers a multifaceted education within a framework of positive psychology. The College’s vision is to foster young women of strength, optimism and justice, who contribute to an equitable world for all.
A variety of co-curricular activities are offered through the College, including Drama, Dance, academic competitions and clubs, Pedal Prix, Debating, and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Students can also take Music lessons, study the instrument of their choice, or participate in sporting activities such as rowing, gymnastics, softball, tennis, equestrian and many more.
Students at Seymour College come from a diverse array of backgrounds. In addition to local day students and rural boarding students, the student body includes international students from numerous countries, such as Cambodia, Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China and Germany.
International students are welcome to enrol with the College at any year level. They can stay in the on-campus Boarding House, or with a local family in accredited Homestay accommodation.
