Ms Rajvir Kaur Sangha from India started as a computer programmer with software company Yartoo in September 2010, after completing the Navitas Professional Year which included a three month internship.

The Director of Yartoo, Mr Shaun Cunniffe, said one of the reasons why Rajvir got the job because she could ‘hit the ground running’. “Rajvir did a 12 week work internship for us and she fitted in well. It allowed me to assess her capabilities. She could work across all of our projects including DAISY and work to direction,” Mr Cunnifee says. “We wanted new blood and new ideas and Rajvir has both. She really adds value to the company. When the 12 weeks were up, we hired her.”

Mr Sangha adds, “The passion has to be for the profession. You need to order your priorities and seek good guidance from friends and associates”. She also works as a care worker on weekends at Anaster Residential Care in Eastwood helping people.
