Top marks for Adelaide

Adelaide has two of the best young universities in the world, according to the QS Top 50 Under 50 report, published yesterday.

The global index of universities under 50 years old includes the University of South Australia at 3rd and Flinders University at 8th in Australia. Overall, 10 Australian Institutions were included, the most of any country.

Only universities less than 50 years old were eligible for inclusion, with rankings based on research, teaching, employability and internationalisation.

23 countries are represented in the findings by QS World University Rankings, who rank the top 700 universities in the world.
