Port Stephens a place of remarkable beauty, located two hours north of Sydney. It is a place that should definitely be on the list of ‘1000 things to do before you die’. Beautiful beaches and amazing wildlife are only two of the elements to help describe this unique place.

In just one day you can experience whale watching, camel riding and sand dunes surfing. If you don’t believe it, you should go to Port Stephens!

We drove from Newcastle and then went by bus to Nelson Bay, which is part of Port Stephens. From there we started our 3 hour whale watching boat trip, where we had the chance to see heaps of whales up close.

When we arrived back to Nelson Bay, we headed further to the end of Port Stephens and climbed up a hill, which gave us a beautiful overview of the beaches and islands. From there we went on to Anna Bay to go camel riding, to see the sand dunes, go sand boarding and watch a colourful sunset. What a wonderful day.
