My holiday in the states was fantastic. I spent time with my new nephew, my siblings, my parents and got engaged! A Walk Through Adelaide

Yesterday I had a day off from everything, work, school, homework, EVERYTHING! When does that ever happen? A day with nothing to do. I am not one who likes to sit still. My days are always extremely full, and I’m always busy doing or working on something. Well yesterday I had the rare privilege of having a free day all to myself. One Semester Down…

I am an American in Australia, and loving it. I have now finished my first semester at TAFE South Australia and am about to start my second semester. The first term was what aussies refer to as ‘chock-o-block’ full of activities, homework, making new friends, and more than anything readjusting to living and studying in a new place, a new city, a new country. Honestly, the readjusting phase took a bit for me. I enjoy living in Adelaide, but learning a new grading system at school and adjusting to a different style of teaching was a little daunting.
